Launis produces a wide range of marinated herring, spiced herring and herring in
various sauces. 

Our quality manager selects only the best herring from the catch.

The fish matures during a given period of time, based on Danish recipes. We marinate
the herring to maintain the taste as well as the fine, firm texture. The consistent
structure of the fish underlines the high quality of our product.

The herrings are caught in the Norwegian and Icelandic waters from September to
January, when the quality is at its best.
